“At Your Table”

In Week 1 of At the Table, we explore the surprising story of Jesus calling Levi — a hated tax collector — and choosing to sit at his table. In a culture that avoided people like Levi, Jesus showed that transformation begins not with exclusion, but with invitation. This message challenges us to rethink what “the table” means in our own lives — not just furniture, but the personal spaces where we live, connect, and make decisions. Who do we allow a seat at our table? And more importantly, have we invited Jesus in? As Lent begins, we are encouraged to create space for Christ in our everyday lives, trusting that Jesus meets us where we are and raises us toward new life.
