Great Grand View Soup Supper
Join us for our Annual Soup Supper on March 4th. We will have an array of soups and engage in great Christian fellowship. If you would like to make a soup for this event, sign ups to help serve & to make a soup will be available in the Gathering Space in the upcoming weeks.
Wesley Sauerkraut & Pork Supper
Join us for a delicious community meal at Wesley Methodist Church in East Dubuque! Enjoy a hearty supper featuring pork shoulder, sauerkraut, German potato salad, whipped potatoes, hot dogs, rolls, desserts, and drinks—there’s something for everyone.
Pricing: Adults: $12, Children (ages 5–12): $7, Children 4 & under: FREE. Tickets available at the door.
Women's Brunch
You’re invited to join us for a Women’s Brunch, a relaxed and joyful time to gather, enjoy a delicious meal, and connect with other women in our church community. This brunch is a space to slow down, share conversation, and build meaningful relationships in a welcoming environment.
Whether you’re new to Grand View or have been part of the church for years, we’d love for you to come as you are—and feel free to bring a friend along with you.
Men's Breakfast
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, February 28 at 8:00 AM at Grand View. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a good meal, connect with other men, and build community in a laid-back setting.
Want to lend a hand? All are invited to help cook and set up starting at 7:00 AM. Whether you come to eat, serve, or both, we’d love to have you with us.
Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent—a time to pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts for Easter. Join us for a meaningful worship service on Wednesday, February 18 at 6:30 PM at Grand View.
This service will include prayer, Scripture, reflection, and the imposition of ashes, reminding us of God’s grace, our need for repentance, and the hope we have in Christ. Whether you are beginning Lent for the first time or returning to a familiar tradition, all are welcome. The service will also be available via livestream for those unable to attend in person.
Camp Bear Creek @ CFX
Camp Bear Creek will be joining us at CFX on Wednesday, February 11th. Parents and children are invited to come learn more about what summer camp looks like at Camp Bear Creek.
Soup'er Bowl Drive
Our Soup’er Bowl Drive is collecting soup and crackers now through February 15 to be distributed in partnership with Resources Unite. Every can and box donated helps provide comfort and nourishment to individuals and families in need. You can drop off donations at the church during regular hours or on Sunday mornings. Thank you for turning a fun football weekend into an opportunity to show care, generosity, and love to our neighbors.
Youth Group Christmas Party
All middle and high school students are invited to our Youth Group Christmas Party that will take place during CFX on December 17th.
Children's Christmas Play
Sunday School children from Grand View present to you “The Nazareth Evening News” as their Christmas Play this year! Come & enjoy a great show, accompanied by some homemade cookies at 3pm on December 14th.
Annual Charge Conference & Potluck
Join us for our Annual Church Conference (accompanied this year by a potluck style meal.) We’ll gather together to discuss the upcoming year, Ad Board nominations, future missions and goals for the church, and more! All are welcome, please bring a dish to share!
Kickoff to Christmas
Kickoff to Christmas is one of favorite annual events! We’ll get together at Grand View at 2pm and work together to decorate the building for the upcoming Christmas season. All are welcome to come & join us!
New Member Sunday
On Sunday, November 16th we will be welcoming new members to our church family. All worship times and all campuses will be a part of this special Sunday. Come & help us celebrate & welcome them!
Wesley Soup Supper

Youth Global Day of Evangelism
The Day of Global Youth Evangelism is an annual event led by Dare2Share Ministries and is held on the second Saturday of November. Youth leaders mobilize their students to boldly share their faith together, on the same day, across the globe. This year, Grand View Methodist Church will host our own full-day event. $15 registration fee covers lunch and dinner for the day.

CFX Kickoff
Christian Family ‘Xperience kicks off September 24th at 5:45pm! We will start the night by gathering for a meal, then we will break off into small groups! There’s groups for nursery, elementary, youth (middle & high school), parents, and adult learning! There is something for everyone! All are welcome!
Bible Sunday
Bible Sunday is a special Sunday where Pastor Tom invites all 2nd & 6th grade students, as well as any students that are new to Grand View to the stage to receive a Bible as a gift from the congregation.

Backyard Bash, Pool Party, & VBS Celebration
Join us for an evening of summer fun and fellowship! We'll kick things off at 5:30 pm at Wesley with a potluck-style dinner—bring your favorite dish to share and a lawn chair! We will provide hot dogs & ice cream. After we eat, we'll head over to the East Dubuque Public Pool, which will be open just for us from 6:15–8:00 pm.

Get ready for an exciting journey to True North at this year’s Vacation Bible School at Grand View Methodist Church ! From July 13th–17th, kids Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to join us each evening from 5:30 to 8:00 PM for a week full of fun, faith, and friendship.
Each night kicks off with a delicious meal before we dive into interactive stations filled with creative games, cool science experiments, awesome adventures, tasty snacks, and time to make new friends. Together, we’ll discover how to follow God’s direction and stay on the path He has for us.

Tractor Pull
Join us for an afternoon of family fun at the Grand View Methodist Church Tractor Pull!
The excitement kicks off at noon with powerful pulls, vintage charm, and good old-fashioned community spirit. The Hawkeye Vintage Farm Machinery Association, providing an impressive lineup of classic tractors for the event, there will also be a Children’s Tractor Pull, & food and ice cream available for purchase all day.

Join us for Grand View Methodist Church's Annual Car Show! See many vehicles and enjoy tasty food from Hangry Hobo and Rice is Nice. Bring your car to show, and everyone in the community is welcome for a day of great cars and food.
ONE Worship Only Outside
Grand View Methodist Church invites everyone to an outdoor worship service on Sunday, June 22. This will be our only Worship time that Sunday. Please bring blankets or chairs for comfort. We hope to see you there!
