“Disciples Read Scripture”

In Week 6 of Discipled for Life, we explore why reading the Bible is essential for anyone who wants to grow closer to God. Looking at Jesus’ words in Gospel of John 14, we’re reminded that discipleship isn’t about wishful thinking—it’s about putting ourselves in positions where God can shape us. The Bible is God’s inspired Word, revealing His character, His promises, and His plan for our lives. As we regularly read, listen to, and engage with Scripture, we come to know God more deeply, trust Him more fully, and learn what it means to follow Jesus faithfully.
