Current Sermon Series: What's the Point?

I think the combination of information-overload, opportunity-overload, and self-centeredness is leading to growth in apathy and indifference. This shows up when we say things like:
  • "Whatever"
  • "Meh"
  • "What’s the point?”
It is impossible to care about everything–when it is possible to know about lots of things, and possible to attend or take part in lots of things. And yet, followers of Jesus should care about certain things. That is, we should be giving our attention, prayers, and best actions towards some things. But which ones?

This sermon series, "What's the Point" will begin to consider the dangers of apathy and indifference and a list of things this Church has named as important things that we SHOULD care about.
