Middle School / High School

Middle School  /  High School Youth

Our goal is to grow in spirit, service, and students this year. Not only do we want to have more youth in attendance, but we want our youth to be an integral part of service and worship at Grand View.

Sunday School

Sundays, 9:30-10:30am
All middle school and high school youth are encouraged to continue their faith journey at Grand View on Sundays with engaging and relevant studies focused on spiritual growth, friendship, wisdom, and more. 9:30-10:30am. Register at the link below and email the pdf to faithformation@grandviewdubuque.org or when you arrive on Sunday.

Middle School & High School Youth Groups

Wednesdays, 6-7:30pm
The objective of our Middle School & High School Youth Groups is to provide a safe and fun place for youth to experience Christian Community and be in a position for God to form their faith and understanding of what it means to live as a Christian in an un-Christian world. It is also training for how to be actively involved in a unique Christian Community. This is an important life-long practice that we're happy and blessed to help provide. Youth Group is a place where prayer, giving, devotion, and service to God and others is practiced. Middle School and High School Youth Groups meet weekly on Wednesdays during Christian Family Xperience, (CFX).

CFX:
We come together at 5:30pm for a light, kid-friendly meal for the whole family. We learn to serve with everyone helping clean up and reset the worship space for worship at 6pm, which includes the Youth Worship Team and a short message related to the upcoming Sunday School theme from Pastor Tom. At 6:30pm, we break into small group learning sessions:
--Nursery (0-3yrs., Meadow rm.)
--Elementary Youth Group (PreK-5, Grand View rm.)
--Middle School Youth Group (gr. 6-8, room 122)
--High School Youth Group (gr. 9-12, Evergreen rm.)
-- Parent's Group (Susanna Wesley rm.)
